Why we recommend this

Securing pensions and benefits: Remaining in Canada safeguards Albertans' access to established national security nets, including the Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), and Employment Insurance (EI), avoiding billions in unnecessary transition costs and administrative risk.
A stronger voice on the world stage: As a leading energy and agricultural powerhouse within a unified Canada, Alberta holds far greater geopolitical leverage and trade power than it would as a landlocked, isolated nation.
